Designated as a promising company for producing products related to the 2002 Korea/Japan World Cup and Busan Asian Games.

Introduced the French Modern Pastel Exhibition to Korea (in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Korea-France diplomatic relations).

Won the gold medal at the National Saemaul QC Competition in Korea.

Relocated the factory from Busan to Eobang-dong, Gimhae, Gyeongnam (Current location), and renamed it MUNGYO Saemaul Company.
